2023 CEO VISION BREAKFAST

Build, Sustain, Grow:

The Future-Forward Workplace

Join Vibrant Pittsburgh on May 4, 2023 for THE 2023 CEO VISION BREAKFAST, a convening designed to engage regional executives on actionable diversity, equity, and inclusion measures for the workplace.

Building, sustaining, and growing future-forward workplaces requires visionary leadership. As organizations in the southwestern Pennsylvania region strategize to engage top talent, leaders must embed diversity, equity, and inclusion into their organizational cultures to attract and retain the talent of today and the future.

Workers of the future are more racially and ethnically diverse than ever. By 2044 more than half of Americans will identify as members of underrepresented racial and ethnic groups. It is an economic imperative for our region’s organizations to proactively build and foster ecosystems of diversity, equity, and inclusion to ensure that all talent thrives in their roles with equitable development and advancement opportunities being provided to retain and upraise diverse talent. By addressing the challenges newcomer and native under-represented populations experience in feeling the Pittsburgh region can position itself as a destination for the current workforce and that of the future.

Join local Executives in the southwestern Pennsylvania region at the 2023 CEO Vision Breakfast: Build, Sustain, Grow: The Future-Forward Workplace to proactively equip your organization for the workforce of today and the future.

Our Values

We believe that a diverse workforce is essential to the ongoing economic vitality of the Greater Pittsburgh region. We must attract, retain, and elevate people of all backgrounds while creating an environment that is inclusive and welcoming.

The regional workforce must attract qualified and diverse talent from across the country and around the globe to be prepared for the job requirements of today and tomorrow.

Who We Are

As an economic development nonprofit that seeks to address one of the greatest challenges facing the Pittsburgh region, its aging population, and workforce, Vibrant Pittsburgh provides leadership to accelerate the growth rate of diverse workers in the region. We do this in the following ways:

 Serve as the region’s central resource, spokesperson, and convener on workforce diversity, equity, and inclusion issues;

 Amplify the efforts of members to monitor, measure, and meet diversity goals;

 Assess and compare DEI policies and practices throughout the region and offer recommendations to improve employer workplaces; and

 Cultivate experiences that are welcoming, engaging, and exciting for residents and newcomers of minority populations.
